Kuwait City has a great variety of shops and stores selling some of the finest merchandise in the Middle East. Souks are of particular interest to Western visitors where traditionally, good-natured bargaining is expected by traders. Cash is the preferred form of payment when shopping at the souks.
Markets in Kuwait feature an abundance of merchandise, which makes shopping a pleasant experience. Traditional souk's are found in the town and feature numerous items such as crafts and traditional art. Modern shopping centres are located in every region of the country.

Shops open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, however the big shopping malls are open all day. Some supermarkets are open 24 hours while others close at 12:00 midnight.
Shopping in Farwaniya
Farwaniya Main Street is just a short walk from the hotel and it can offer a variety of shopping possibilities. Everything from clothing, gold, food and electronics are available. Five minutes drive from the hotel there are SEARS with discounted branded clothing and sports gear as well a several furniture shops in the area.
