Souks
Souks are of particular interest to Western visitors where a myriad of treasures, including crafts and traditional art, can be unearthed; good-natured bargaining is traditionally expected by the souk traders and cash is the preferred form of payment. 

Modern shopping centres are located in every region of the country.

Shops are open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The big shopping malls, however, are open all day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Some supermarkets are open 24 hours while others close at 12:00 midnight. 

Shopping close to Crowne Plaza Kuwait:
Farwaniya Main Street is just a short walk from the hotel and it offers a variety of shopping options including clothing, gold, food and electronic goods. A five minute drive from the hotel is ”Sears”; a store offering discounted branded clothing and sports gear, with several furniture shops also found nearby.
